The Cottage

The cottage is the oldest part of the buildings and has its own entrance and courtyard. It has been developed from a run of individual rooms which may have been the cells used by the monks who are said to have resided at Ballyin in the late 1600’s.

The Cottage accommodation consists of a double / twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom consisting of a deluxe bath and shower, a large sitting room with wood burning stove and French windows overlooking the sunny courtyard. It also has a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, and separate toilet.
All rooms are spacious and airy and on good days they and the courtyard are bathed in sunlight.

The Cottage is a luxurious, self-catering base for two people who want to get away from it all and relax in a quiet and beautiful setting. It is also very suitable for fishermen (see Fortwilliam Fishing website for fishing information ) and those interested in shooting, golf, garden touring, Camphire horse trials , sightseeing (the cathedral with Henry Clarke window is close by).

Laundry facilities are shared with the Guest House and extra drying facilities are available.

The Towers Walk is also close by.

Guest are welcome to use the gardens.
